Mac OS 8.5 Cover Girls and Cover Boys

At the Washington Apple Pi November 1998 General Meeting

Brighid Brady-de Lambert, Apple User Group Program Manager, sent the Pi a giant Mac OS 8.5 commemorative box for use at our 20th Anniversary Meeting (and also at our Garage Sale the following month). This proved to be a big hit: the box has a hole in the upper half allowing anyone who wishes to "star" on the box cover.

Denied by fate (and, possibly, talent) the opportunity to replace Michael Jordan on the cover of Wheaties, the Pi's faithful took full advantage of the opportunity to be electronic cover boys and cover girls.

Unfortunately, photographer David Essick neglected to get the names of his cover models, so please write to the webmaster if you can identify any of our celebrities.
