On Thursday afternoon, Fergy led another successful Afternoon Learners session.

We started with a reminder to run Software Update and install the Java updates.

So Mac users, PLEASE run software update (from the Apple menu top left), and immediately install all Java updates.

Next we invited a show of hands for those already using Dropbox and those wanting to use it so we could pair people up to maximize the free space that Dropbox now affords to both the invitor and the invitee. Much talk about dropbox vs. iCloud, with the prevailing view being the iCloud was primarily for syncing your own things among multiple Apple devices, while Dropbox was primarily for sharing files with other folks by using the cloud.
