We came. We sometimes took pictures. We sometimes posted some of the photos we took, and wrote about what we did. We are Washington Apple Pi, this is our story, and we're sticking to it.

June 2008:
- After a weather cancellation of the February meeting when Walt Mossberg was to speak, we have rescheduled. Come and hear the noted Wall Street Journal technology columnist on June 28.
May 2008:
- The Pi is hosting a Mac Masters Seminar the last weekend of May.
- Pi Elections are held in may. Be sure to vote.
- The May General Meeting will consist of a full hour and a half session with Bob LeVitus, ìDr. Mac,î the principle speaker for the Mac Masters series. Bring your questions and get some top-notch direction and advice from this renowned author and Mac guru!
April 2008:
- Graphics wizard Lesa Snider King was at the Washington Apple Pi General Meeting on April 26 to talk about Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and iStockphoto.
- Harry St. Ours, professor in communications arts technologies, was the speaker at the Graphic Arts SIG meeting April 12.
March 2008:
- Microsoft Office 2008 vs. iWork '08: an epic battle held March 29. Note that this is the fifth Saturday rather than the usual fourth Saturday, as March has an inexplicable five Saturdays.
February 2008:
- Walt Mossberg, the
Wall Street Journal's technology columnist,
will be our guest on February 23. Postponed due to bad weather; to be rescheduled.
January 2008:
- Washington Apple Pi held its annual Macworld Review on January 26. We were wowed.
December 2007:
- Washington Apple Pi hosted a Holiday Party on Sunday, December 9, at the Pi offices in Rockville, MD.
November 2007:
- The Pi took a first look at Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Nice kitty! And we unveiled the annual Holiday List of goodies you can get for your Mac. The meeting was Nov. 17, one week early, to avoid conflicts with Thanksgiving.
October 2007:
- Double header: The iPhone at Four Months; Investment Tracking were the twin topics at the General Meeting on October 27. The world has changed since the iPhone was introduced; people came to see how. They also saw how Macs put number crunching to good use with Churr Software's investment tracking.
September 2007:
- More on Web Publishing on September 29 built on the fundamentals covered at the July meeting. We looked at Sandvox and Dreamweaver, and briefly discussed the new iWeb 2.0.
August 2007:
- Making Movies with iMovie was the topic at the General Meeting on August 25. How one set of tools -- iMovie --can bring very different outcomes.
July 2007:
- All About Web Pages was the topic at the General Meeting on July 28. You could see a site come to life before your very eyes!
June 2007:
- Apple TV was the topic at the General Meeting on June 23.
- Pi Mini-Meeting at Tysons Corner Apple Store on June 21: Living the iLife.
