Overview
A standalone catalog — not a journal issue but a Pi-published reference document distributed with the journal subscription. The full title-block reads "WASHINGTON APPLE PI 3.2 LIBRARY" (referring to the DOS 3.2 library era as the catalog grew). The catalog enumerates every WAP public-domain ("PD") disk in the Disketeria — Pi's lending library of member-contributed software. Each disk is listed with its volume number (e.g., WAP Volume 001 — UTILITIES I), free-sector count (the practical "how much space is left if you want to add to it"), and a complete per-program listing showing program name and type (A = Applesoft BASIC, I = Integer BASIC, B = Binary).
Structure
The 12 pages span roughly Volume 1 (Utilities I) through the mid-100s of the library. Sample volumes visible on page 1:
- Vol 001 — UTILITIES I (842 free sectors)
- Vol 002 — UTILITIES II (151 free sectors)
- Vol 005 — GAMES III (1012 free sectors)
- Vol 006 — GAMES IV (37 free sectors)
- Vol 007 — GAMES V (106 free sectors)
- Vol 008 — GAMES III (440 free sectors — different from Vol 005)
- Vol 009 — EDUCATIONAL I (86 free sectors)
- Vol 010 — MATH / SCIENCE (49 free sectors)
- Vol 011 — GRAPHICS I (194 free sectors)
- Vol 012 — GAMES VI (83 free sectors)
Each disk lists ~30 programs by name. Examples from Vol 1 (Utilities I): Improved Catalog, Disk Aide, Disk Map, Tony's Subroutine Pak, Lock Disk, Disk Speed Test, Memory Spy. From Vol 5 (Games III): Tennis, Roulette, Midway, Hello, Sea Chase, Nightmare 16, Slot Machine 12, Color War, Xmas Tree, Mouse Maze. From Vol 9 (Educational I): Color Math, Conventions, EchoCardioGraph, Flash Card, Math Tutor, Morse CW, Northern Constellations, States/Capitals, Titration.
Highlights
A snapshot of the WAP Disketeria mid-1984
The Disk Library was one of Pi's most-used member benefits. By July 1984 it had grown to hundreds of disks (this catalog covers roughly the first 100+), each ~$5 to "buy" (i.e., have the volunteer librarians duplicate onto a member-provided disk). The library is built entirely from member-contributed PD software.
Catalog format and provenance
The format — VolNum, free sectors in parentheses, then a two-column program listing with Applesoft/Integer/Binary letter prefixes — was standardized in this 1984 catalog and persisted into later catalogs. The publication is dated "Updated as of 7-3-84".

Connections to other issues
- Companion to the regular monthly journal — distributed in parallel
- Successor: later catalogs include the ProDOS-era split into "3.2 Library" + "3.3 Library" + "ProDOS Library" + "CP/M Library" + "Pascal Library" + "Mac Library"
- Library Mail Order Form on the back-pages of monthly journals matches up with this catalog
- Dave Weikert was the Disk Library lead through this era; later Treasurer (2001-2002 before his death May 5, 2001)
