First shipment arrived ~November 12, 1979 via KDA Associates (Linthicum MD). Demo at the September Pi meeting.

Hersch Pilloff wrote two articles about it: "Interfacing the IDS 440 Printer" (November) using the game I/O, and "Graphics Driver for the IDS 440 Printer" (December).
