Tom Kroll

Pi member who launched "Pie Ala Mode (A Slice of WAP)" as a recurring column in 1985-11 — V07 N11. The column appears to formalize Pi's WAP Slices framework (regional sub-organizations), an idea Bernie Urban had first proposed in 1981-05 — V03 N05. The first chartered Slice — Annapolis — debuts the following year (1986-10 — V08 N10).

Kroll's earlier work includes "Apple Keys" (1985-10 — V07 N10).
