eJournal Launch

Pi Journal transitioned from print to PDF-only "eJournal" format with 2009-01 — V31 N01 — described as "second in a test series of three" (the first eJournal experiment is missing from our ingest, presumably 2008).

Format characteristics: - PDF optimized for Adobe Reader Full Screen mode - Clickable table of contents - Embedded web links (resources, references) - Free download for members - Bimonthly schedule (Jan-Feb, Mar-Apr, May-Jun, Jul-Aug, Sep-Oct, Nov-Dec) - Produced in InDesign + Photoshop + Illustrator CS3 + Acrobat Pro 8

By 2010-01 — V32 N01 the "eJournal" label was dropped — format stabilized as just "Journal".
