International Apple Core Year 2

Year-two activities of International Apple Core:

First Annual Meeting: March 13, 1980 at the Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, with APPLE TALKS at the West Coast Computer Faire (March 14–16) featuring Wozniak, John Draper (Forth), Bill Atkinson (Pascal), Charlie Kellner, J.D. Esenburg, Wendell Sanders, Phil Roybal, Craig Vaughn, Wes Thomas.

Software distribution: Directors received Apple software at the March meeting; Pi's David Morganstein copied it for Eastern Region clubs. Neil Lipson (IAC Software Chairman) subsequently sent disks directly to Urban for redistribution.

Anaheim special session (May 1980) — Ken Silverman convened. Accepted Val Golding's Apple Orchard budget; subcommittee chaired by Mike Weinstock (IPC) to investigate alternative publishers; 1981 meeting TBD; Joe Budge as Secretary now sending APnotes directly.

Newsletter exchange with Eastern Region clubs inaugurated in April 1980 (Urban editorial). First reprint: Craig Crossman's APPLE TRICKS from A.C.E.S (Boca Raton).
