The Pi's history spans three decades (and, soon, two centuries), and during that time it has been at the forefront of records automation. But the sad fact is that much of an organization's life is recorded on paper. It is tempting to scan everything and store it all on a Zip cartridge but (a) who is going to volunteer to do this? and (b) will the federal, state, and local tax authorities and other groups regulating non-profits appreciate such devotion to high-technology?
