Genevie Urban
Programmed and designed systems for computers for 15 years before stopping to raise a family. Worked with SEAC, UNIVAC, IBM 701, 705, 709, 7090, 7094. By 1979 her interest in computers is with micros and particularly in education. Wife of Bernard Urban. Suggested the name "Washington's Apple ][" at the 3/2/79 meeting (the motion carried). Elected Secretary in May 1979, and continued in that role under John Moon's presidency.
