Washington Apple Pi Telecommunications System — Pi's bulletin-board service, successor to the earlier ABBS (Apple Bulletin Board System) run by Tom Warrick and John Moon.

Launched in 1986-12 — V08 N12 under Leon H. Raesly as systems operator (TCS SYSOP).

Architecture (per 1986-12 — V08 N12): - 4 phone lines - 4 conferences: Pi General, Apple ][ & II families, Macintosh, Classified - Up to 32 boards per conference - Annual fee: $6 (added to regular membership dues) - 24 hours/day at (301) 986-8085 - 300/1200/2400 bps
