Apple Puget Sound Program Library Exchange (Call-A.P.P.L.E.)
The Seattle-area Apple users' group, publisher of Call-A.P.P.L.E. magazine — and the model that Washington Apple Pi's founders looked to for organizational structure. John Moon adapted his draft constitution from theirs (published in Feb 1979 Call-A.P.P.L.E.). Bernard Urban negotiated affiliate arrangements with Val Golding in March 1979: library packs available on royalty basis ($2.50/pack); group rate on issues; individual membership $2.50 + $7.50/year. The October 1979 Apple-sponsored summit that formed International Apple Core was organized by Val Golding on Apple's behalf.
